Vietnamese Knife Company is committed to becoming a leading manufacturer and
distributor of stainless steel kitchen knives, outdoor knives, and cutting tools in Europe.
Everyday, we try to improve our products to provide high-quality craftsmanship and service
to both local and international customers. Our knives are currently sold in both the Middle
East and Europe.

 Introduction:

 

The founder of Vietnamese Knife Company, Dang Trinh Hieu Anh, is a passionate knife enthusiast with a deep appreciation for high-end cutlery. After years of testing various Japanese, German, and Vietnamese knives, he finally discovered blades that met his high standards for edge retention, balance, and craftsmanship — the knives of Bui Thanh Nam. All our knives are handcrafted by the prestigious Vietnamese knife maker Bui Thanh Nam. He began studying heat treatment and high-end knife making in 2016, starting by designing and building two essential tools — a resistance furnace and a belt grinder — using only locally available materials. At the time, no company in Vietnam produced such equipment specifically for knife makers, and importing them was prohibitively expensive. Thanks to his hands-on experience and deep knowledge of cutting tools, Bui Thanh Nam won the Vietnam Bladesport Championship in 2018, was the runner-up in 2019, and still holds the national rope-cutting record: six clean cuts through 32mm ropes — a record that remains unbroken.

 

How Our Knives Are Made:

 

Our knives are made from Böhler N690 steel and are crafted by Vietnamese Bladesport Champion Bui Thanh Nam. We use liquid nitrogen (LN2) cryo-treatment on the blades to significantly enhance hardness, wear resistance, and overall performance.
